Tina is a Certified Customs Specialist, Certified Export Specialist, and Notary Public. She has, moreover, passed the customs broker exam and submitted an application for her customs broker license. Working as an independent consultant, Tina assists USCTL with the conduction of customs and trade compliance research, the preparation of protests and petitions, the submission of CBP and PGA status update requests, the translation and/or notarization of import and export documents, and the coordination of scheduling and other administrative matters.
Tina holds a B.S. in Information Systems from the University of Maryland and, as a naturalized U.S. citizen from Nanjing, China, speaks, reads, and writes Mandarin Chinese with native proficiency. When Tina is not working with USCTL, she pursues a variety of entrepreneurial activities including, amongst others, the management of a company dedicated to providing U.S. registered agent services to foreign facilities and the delivery of interpretation/liaison services for the benefit of U.S. entities that lack in-house Chinese language capabilities. Tina’s personal interests encompass Chinese history and culture, cooking, skiing, hiking, gardening, and Airstreaming.
